How did they perform in the field?

These socks have been trailed in varying conditions from tracks to fells and mountains, over 40 plus miles of hiking.

Overall the socks performed very well:

The Highlights:

• I had little to no fatigue after long walks
• The socks were comfortable and gripped the foot well.
• The two layers worked well and did not ‘stick’ to each other.
• After 40-plus miles there was no wear on the socks.
• The grip across the whole foot, Achilles and calf was good.
• Although the sock can be warm, the breathability of the sock was good.

Points to be aware of:

• These are 3-4 season socks so they can be warm in the summer months.
• They are a thicker socks, so you will need room in your boot/shoe.
• I always advise stretching the sock after washing, to ease fitting when you wear them next
