This has become a go-to jacket during the trial.  This is for several reasons:

• Very versatile.
• Great style and fit.
• Can be used:
  • Stand alone.
  • As a mid-layer under a shell.
  • Insulation when stopping for a walk break, or at the end of a walk.

The trial lasted several weeks over multiple walks, in varying conditions, terrain and conditions.

The key features which worked particularly well during the trial were:

• Thermal qualities.
• Versatility of the jacket.
• A blend of technologies.
• Elastic in the cuffs allowed for a great fit when wearing gloves.
• The hood fit and the peak not being elasticated.
• Length of body

Conclusion:

This is such a versatile jacket with great use of technologies I would not hesitate to recommend this jacket.  The performance in many conditions and environments is a compliment to any outdoor wardrobe.

Are areas for improvement?  Not that I could find.
