A walk of three elements, peaks – fells – river waterfalls. This walk has something for everyone, not too difficult but with great views and tranquil walks along a burn with some stunning waterfalls. It all adds up to a great day, which should not be missed.
A walk of great variation. We take in river and wooded trails, and ruins dating back to the 13th century. We trek along a magnificent gorge, before returning through the ancient woodland of Briarwood Bank. A great day of tranquillity waits.
Another great walk in the Northumberland National Park, starting from Ingram heading over the north fells, with great views. Then dropping back into Ingram Valley at Hartside Farm, before heading over the southern fells, and ending up at Ingram once again. Ensure you have you map and compass with you.
If you want a walk which challenges you and offers so much varied walking, this one is for you. We explore some great paths and fells, with breath taking scenery from The Cheviot trig point, before the delights of numerous waterfalls as we trek through Hen Hole.
