Hexham, Juniper, Dipton Woods & Dilston Circular Walk.

This is such a tranquil walk with some varied walking. We start in the Historic Market Town of Hexham, before heading south with some excellent views across Tyne Valley, before reaching the picturesque village of Juniper. Heading along the ‘A Pennine Journey’ path, we have many bridge crossings, with a great backdrop. Once we have explored Dipton Woods we head towards Dilston with a great view of Corbridge, before our return journey to Hexham.

We take in a disused rail track and some great views from the trig point as we conclude the walk. This can all be experienced in a medium intensity walk of 8.55 miles.
